Updating Motorola’s brand
In anticipation of the new product line-up from 2017, I’ve been collaborating with designers from Motorola to define a new Visual design Language. This update seeks to bridge the gap between Motorola’s industrial design implementation and software development, simplify some of the elements and long standing features found in our UI, unify Motorola and Lenovo (Moto’s parent brand) and leverage animation to create more sophisticated micro-interactions.
Unfortunately, I can’t show any details of my screens here at this moment in time, but I’ve been working on the visual design in defining how the intro screens will look as well as interior pages for Moto’s fingerprint sensor nav, security software and voice assistant. My work includes creating flows for interaction, creating animations and prototypes to test the new updates with users.
